Friday at Costco in Gaithersburg, MD

 

Chef Dolores talked me into taking her to the Costco store in Gaithersburg, Maryland this afternoon because she wanted me to handle the heavy packages she planned to purchase. We expected to see a large crowd but the checkout lines were the longest I have ever seen. I did have the opportunity to chat with a very personable young lady in line. She wants to get her real estate license to help her husband flip houses. When you are out and about, everybody wants to talk about real estate.

We did find an available table and I enjoyed a Costco hot dog and a Diet Pepsi for lunch. Have a great evening and an outstanding weekend.

Costco is a lot of fun to shop at Roy Kelley and you never know what conversations will come up there.  My local Costco does a booming business at their cafe - the hot dogs are very popular!

Hi Roy... I popped over to Costco earlier today... first it was insane trying to find a park. Then, the store had so many people waiting on line to pay (and I needed just a couple of things), I left and drove over to Sam's Club down the road, where I could check myself out in a just a minute or two. Came home and ordered what I was looking for at Costco from them on-line.
