Play a Round of Golf

I mentioned this in an earlier blog about Disc Golf, but I grew up watching my father play, and he taught the game to my son Jonathan who still plays regularly today, so I have been a player/enthusiast my entire life. That being said, I can’t remember the last time I played a round of golf that wasn’t for a company outing or charity, and between a warm-up bucket of balls, lunch and drinks afterward - it’s a full day activity, and an expensive one at that!

That being said, depending on when/where you choose to play, it doesn’t have to break the bank, especially if you can make time to play during the afternoon on a weekday, as most can’t make that happen.

I decided to play Quail Hollow Golf Course, which, according to my son Jonathan, is one of the most beautiful yet challenging golf courses in Idaho. So because of that, I decided to just play 9 holes instead of 18, and I added it to the list of Boyles Boise: 52 things to do and see.
