“You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know”
Hi Mr. Petrowsky
My name is Angela Xxxxxxxxx and I’m an acquaintance of Matt Xxxx. He gave me your contact information so I would be able to find out some information and see if we can buy Matt’s Condo. I do not have good credit so my fiancé was going to apply on his own for a FHA loan. His credit score is 634 and he makes around $3200 a month before taxes. His only debt is his car payment ($252) and credit card( min payment $25). He is also a co-signer on my vehicle ($272). We wanted to put about $5000 down for the loan for the condo. Is there anything else we should be doing?
I’m not very knowledgeable about buying a home and Matt has been a great help but he told us to reach out to you for more advice. He told me that there is no one better when it comes to mortgages.
Thanks for your time.
Angela
When someone indicates they don’t have very good credit, I will always ask, “How do you know?”
Sure enough, when I ran Angela’s credit it was better than her boyfriends.
As I went over the report with her, she was literally choked up. She is now on her way to owning her own condo rather than depending on anyone else.
It always makes sense to check with a professional rather than assume that your credit isn’t very good. You may be surprised in a positive way!
