Politics, Politics and More Politics

Does everything have to revolve around politics?? We are having a listing contest in our office - I was very motivated and then... the politics happened... Somone complained about thier team and the manager (afraid to stand up as usual) rearranged the teams, now it takes the fun out of the whole thing, and who wants to be a part of something childish... Well, I have a couple of listings in the works and dedcided, I'm doing this for me and childishness and politics have no part in my plan. I look at these people and think - If there clients really knew, about them, would they work with them?? Oh, well.... Some things never change. Is it me, or have we lost our mission?????
