The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, September 22, and Tuesday, September 25 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices.  So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.

 

Great Parish Fun Fair on September 22, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at St. Philip Neri at the corner of High Street and Van Buren Street for the benefit of St. Philip Neri and St. Albert.

Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, September 22, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.

 

Second Annual Alameda Island Brewfest on Saturday, September 22 from Noon to 4:00 pm for the benefit of Alameda Meals on Wheels.  You will have the opportunity to quaff beer from local breweries, taste some food truck wares and listen to live music at the Encinal Yacht Club, 1251 Pacific Marina.  Early bird tickets $40 per person at eventbrite.com/e/alameda-island-brewfest-tickets 46952757963.

 

Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Fall Fun” on Saturday,  September 22, and Sunday, September 23 at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center.  Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.

Alameda Legacy Home Tour on Sunday, September 23 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm features a self-guided tour of six historic home in central Alameda.  Presented by Alameda Architectural Preservation Society and the Alameda Museum.  Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 the day of the tour.
