The Boston Read Sox have achieves something I wish many people who have been fans for their entire life but did not get to see it. The 2018 Red Sox team is the winningest team in the entire history, they just broke the 1912 Records:
The 2018 Boston Red Sox are the winningest team in franchise history.
With a 6-2 victory over Baltimore Orioles on Monday, the Red Sox set a new franchise record with their 106th win. That broke the tie they had with the 1912 team, which went 105-47 en route to a World Series championship.
Scoreboards flashed "106 Wins." Fans waved signs to celebrate breaking a record that has stood as long as Fenway Park itself.
I am so thrilled that they won it AT HOME! For all the fans to enjoy, I wish I was in that group...Oh Well.
Congratulations to the Team and their Manager Alex Cora! Job well done. BTW not only are they the winningest team in franchise history, but they are the winningest team in MLB as we speak!!
