If a tree falls in the woods, did it make a sound? You know, if you email a customer, meaning a person who has specifically requested more information from you, and that person does not reply, are they ignoring you? It makes me wonder whether we have become so insensitive to digital communications that people feel it is OK to cross the street to the other side if they don't feel like interacting.
Or, maybe we think everybody outside of ourselves is now a robot. Because so much of our communications in a business world are not with "real" people.
