The Third Annual Alameda Bike for the Parks on Saturday, September 29 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Washington Park, 701 Central Avenue. Fees for participants are $45 for adults, $20 for kids younger than 16 years.
The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, September 29, and Tuesday, October 2 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, September 29, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Bird Bingo” on Saturday, September 29, and Sunday, September 30, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
Facilitated walk of the east end public shoreline access pathways with city staff on Saturday, September 30 from 2 to 4 pm in the East End. Meet at the Fernside Boulevard side of Lincoln Park between Liberty and Central. No dogs, please. For more information, please call747-7570.
