Scammers are very smart, we need to be smarter
Just received a call that looked like it was from one of my credit card companies. I did not answer because I get way too many scam calls. However I did call my credit card company and asked if they did in fact have that number in their file as a company number. They responded yes but we would never call you, that is for you to call us. The rep said let me check your call record, she came back in 15 seconds and said that they had not called me recently. So the scammers skillfully used my credit card company's number for the caller ID to show up on my phone when they called me. Please be alert friends, and NEVER give ANYONE any information if they called you first. Always check with your bank or credit card company before you give any information. Be careful in these troubled times.
