October Challenge --Update Your Profile -- I Wish I COULD

I saw this challenge from @Brian England, and I thought, yeah I can do that.

But I can't.

I did my profile on Active Rain waaaay back, when you could add photos to the block of text where you were giving info about yourself. Now, I don't see how you can do it that way. I've actually got a picture in the profile, that is now showing up, but I have no way to fix it. Bummer. If anyone knows how, please let me know! 

That said, I've always been one for keeping my personal photo current. I don't remember when I last changed my profile picture, but one of my clients does Brand marketing/engagement for companies like AT&T, Home Depot and more. He coached me to have the same photo on ALL of my social media profiles, so I've kept the same one on all of them. 

I think you'd recognize me if I showed up on your door step. The photo on the right was Saturday night at a client event at our office.

I remember it becoming tougher to add photos into the profile footer.  I'll have to take a look and see if I can refresh my memory on how to do it.

These days it is difficult to keep up with showing an updated photo. I am not almost blonde so i doubt anyone would recognize me. I actually have to take a new photo before I can think of uploading it.

Go to your profile page and look for the blue EDIT PROFILE button on top left of page. Click on it and it will enable you to make changes. Then....

Profile pageLook for the little blue pencil on the upper right corner on your profile picture. Click it and you can upload your new photo. When done be sure to click the top left on the page that says DONE EDITING so it will save the change.

Debe Maxwell, CRS  and Debbie Reynolds ....that's not the change I want to make......See where I have a picture in the MIDDLE of the profile text? I can't find a way to change it, OR, to add a new picture in there.

I checked out your profile and then went to my own to see if I could figure it out. Seems the only way to add a photo in that section is to have a URL for the photo. That means the photo must be stored somewhere. I tried copying and pasting the URL from a photo on my website, but it didn't work. 

When I tried to delete the URL....highlighting it didn't work. However, placing my cursor after it and using backspace key to delete the URL did work. 

Maybe that will work to delete what you have.
