I'm THAT agent who has so many leads in a database that they've gone cold. I'm able to handle 4-8 transactions a month before I'm overloaded... post-it notes all over the office, phone ringing off the hook crazy, but still able to keep it together.
My passion is lead generation. My websites generate on average over 30 leads per month, and sometimes 3 times that amount! My weakness however is follow up. This month I've partnered up with a colleague who loves to do what I hate.
I've been happily pecking away at my keyboard, sending her gobs of leads with notations and simultaneously she's slowly reviving them into active clients! With over 3,900 leads I have my hands full! I'm locked in my ice cold office, door shut, bundled in a Harley Davidson sweatshirt, jeans and tennis shoes. Comfortably rouge attire for a real estate office.
We're splitting 50-50 and I couldn't be more thrilled. What was once a dreaded task, is now delegated to someone who actually enjoys making cold calls, sending emails, following up and showing property.
We drafted a simple agreement, shook hands and put our noses to the grindstone. If all goes as planned, we should be able to close a minimum of 3 clients a month or more. Leads which would have been otherwise lost. And 50% of nothing is nothing! 50% of something is a blessing!
