It Took Long Enough!

Real Estate Agent with GreatWest Realty DRE# 00827565

The weatherman had been promising rain for a few days now.  I actually thought it would arrive yesterday, but it didn't.  Even this morning and most of this afternoon it was dry as a bone, although muggy.  Then in the quiet of this late afternoon I heard thunder, with lightening riding tightly on its back.  And then rain, glorious rain - The very first we have precipitation since May!  For drought parched California, it is more than welcome.

Picture above taken from my patio.  I was just contemplating running the sprinklers when the greater sprinklers in the sky let loose in accompanyment, with the boistrous sound of thunder.

Looks like all the froggies came out to soak up the rain.

It has been very dry here as well.  I will take rain anyday - especially over snow which they are predicting for next week.  YUK

Myrl I totally get this one!  We have had hardly any rain all summer long and on Tuesday we got the left overs of hurrican Rosa. We got 2.5 inches in a day and Scottsdale got over 4 inches.  Flash flooding all over the place. Luckily our home wasn't flooded.  We rarely and I mean rarely get that much rain in a short period of time. I can't ever remember was wild.  Loved it all!!

Myrl we have been blessed with lots of rain this year.  In fact I can't remember a year that we had as much rain as this year without flooding.

I am surprised to spy a spa still sitting in your back yard, Myrl. You know, we removed our spa from the yard in Land Park. But then we didn't use it anymore after I quit smoking 8 years ago. If I can't sit in the spa with a cigarette and glass of wine, there is just no need to do it in the first place.

Was happy to see the rain. Beating down on the gutters kept me awake.

We are finally gettting a little rain the last couple days... more like sprinkles really.  But there has been some new snow in the mountains which is a great thing.  We need it badly.

Myrl Jeffcoat - If I could, I'd gladly send you some rain. Texas is drenched and the rain isn't stopping yet! This is highly unusual. I don't we'll even have a Fall.

I hope you get the type of weather you need. Rain isn't always fair!
