The popular Alga Norte Community Park in Carlsbad offers loads of fun events throughout the year.
The Annual Pumpkin Plunge is coming up on October 20th – don’t miss it. If you want to go I would sign up soon as possible, as attendees are limited and this event tends to sell out every year.
But before the Pumpkin Plunge…in fact it’s this Sunday October 7th...kids and their parents (and others) can enjoy the 5th Annual Super Hero Obstacle Race from 8:00 to 11:00 am. Get dressed as your favorite Super Hero 9 and there are a lot of them) and come run a 2K obstacle course. And if a parent or parents don’t want to participate, or can’t, siblings, caregivers, grandparents or friends are welcome.

The cost is $25 per participant, and you must be at least 4 years old to take part. The race takes about 1 hour to complete and, of course, has a Super Hero theme.
Food and beverages will be available for sale at the Dive in Grill.

Alga Norte Community Park is located at 6565 Alicante Road, at the intersection of Poinsettia Lane, in South Carlsbad (La Costa in the La Costa Greens area).
