It's Time For Your Flu Shot

Have you thought about going out to get your flu shot?

It is recommended that you get your vaccine by the end of October.  

There are a few different choices this year so be sure to talk to the pharmacist or your doctor before getting your vaccine.  

According to Time Health, last year about 80,000 people died from the flu.  The CDC reports that this is the highest flu death toll in 4 decades. 

 

When you go, be sure to relax your arm before you get the shot.

I think it is a good idea Belinda Spillman. Having the flu is no fun and even if one does get the flu if it is not as bad, I am all in.

I don't think that I have had a flu shot since I was a kid and I am fine with that, haha.  I don't like needles and luckily, I never get the flu.

I need to get my shot Belinda Spillman  I can call my doctor I also saw the sign at the pharmacy at Walmart . Need to get it next week so glad you posted this so important to get this shot .

It's never time for me for a flu shot, Belinda. The one and only time I ever got one, I was sick as a dog within 12 hours from the worst flu ever. Haven't had one since and it's been 25 years! I'll just take my chances.

Hi Belinda Spillman - Relaxing your arm is so key to reducing soreness.  Funny story.... I got my shot and the Pharmacist asked which arm, I said it doesn't matter.  When she got to my husband she asked him if he sleeps on his side and should get the shot on the opposite side!  I wish I would have know that!!
