Try these 4 Halloween Marketing Ideas This Month!
1. Attach Business Cards to Candy
We know there is much debate on this one...but hear us out. We are not saying to pass out candy to trick or treaters with your card attached to give to their parents. We are saying to pass out candy to full grown adults, with your business card attached. You'd be surprised how much happiness you can bring to adults by impulsively giving them candy.
2. Pumpkin Carving Contest
User generated content is one of the best ways to find pictures to post to your social media feeds. (Ask for permission first!) And October is a great month to host a pumpkin carving contest with a simple prize of a gift certificate (or even a bag of candy) to the winner with the most likes on your instagram account. This will send more people to your profile to like their friend's pumpkin, and some of them might even stay when they see the rest of your posts.
3. Stock Up Your Flyer Boxes
The ghouls and goblins will be out on October 31 walking around the neighborhood. It is assumed that some parents will take their kids to a different neighborhood to get the best candy. Make sure the flyer box for your listings are fully stocked to take advantage of the increased foot traffic.
4. Don't Ghost Your Past Clients
Ghosting is a millennial term where a person just abruptly stops contacting you. It's a horrible way to break up with somebody...but also a reason some agents will lose repeat and referral business. Take some time during this month to send an email or text message to your past clients to maintain that ongoing relationship!
