Oh, That's Not A Generator...THAT'S A Generator!

We had a power outage here the first year after we built...for five very long days....and there were thoughts of getting a generator....and thankfully we have not lost power for more than an hour since !

I'd say you are equipped to outlast any storm with any power outages that comes your way!!

That was a odd storm that seemed to come out of nowhere yesterday. I was home at the time and safe. No worries. But when I went to check on my listing, a large branch had fallen down. I went back home to get my loppers and hand saw (which I knew wouldn't cut it) and when I got back, the neighbor was already at it, cutting away. We both finished it off and it was nice to receive seller's neighborly help at a time when I needed it. Today, I go back to sweep and rack, unless of course we get more rain. 

I am glad that I live in an area where I don't really need one of those, but if I lived in an area where power would go out, I certainly would want the biggest and best generator available, haha.

Lisa my house is ALL electric and the baby below plugs into my electrical box, and takes care of about 80% of my house

Good morning Lisa - I got a Generac standby generator after Sandy in 2012.  It is nice and goes on 20 seconds after the power goes out.  Ours runs on propane since we don't have natural gas.

We hadd a generac for Hurricane Irma, great unit so far. We put ~160 hours on it and I still crank it up once a month or so to make sure its still working at peak performance.
