In the Great Recession, short sales were in abundance here in the Treasure Valley and were our primary business. John became well-known as one of the top 3 short sale specialists in the Boise area and he had other agents referring their short sales to him because they knew that he would be able to negotiate properly with the banks to get the homes closed. On the buying end, I helped many investors and homeowners wade their way through the lengthy and often frustrating short sale process. But as the economy has grown, the housing market has stabilized and then appreciated, short sales (thankfully) have become few and far between.
