Getting your home ready for sale can be daunting. Many sellers dont know where to start and watching HGTV just confuses and disillusions them more. Not all improvements will bring a return for the investment, and sometimes it is best to just adjust the price accordingly.
Some of the best improvements aren't ones that cost much bit make the biggest bang!
1. CLEAN- not just a quick dusting but a thorough one, From ceiling to floor look at every surface.. Is there dust debris --- look at the AC vents? Tops of the frames of the artwork, photos ,glass fronts ? Cabinet crown molding? Window treatments and windows ? Furniture legs ? Baseboards?
2. DECLUTTER- Now is the time, Box it up.. LESS is more, Showcase the space.
3. PAINT- not every room will need painted , but any room that looks tired/ outdated , dark will be hundreds less off the offer ( per room)
Dont overlook front door.. this is probablly the biggest bang for the buck.
Its the first and last part of the home they see.
