A BEAUTIFUL STORY
Once upon a time there was a little blonde girl who was about 5 years old AND she was still a thumb-sucker. The little blonde girl's mom and dad begged and pleaded and threatened but it did no good. She went to bed at night and loved that thumb.
BUT, the little blond girl watched TV and saw a new doll advertised. The new doll had hair that grew! A doll with hair that could be long or short and was controlled by the doll's owner. The little blonde girl HAD to have that doll!
The begging and pleaded was reversed. Now the little blonde girl was the one doing the begging and pleading. So Mom and Dad made a bargain with her. If she would stop that thumb sucking they would buy her the doll. It was a Crissy doll! The original one may have been a Tressy but the hair was the main thing.
Wonder of wonders! She quit the thumb sucking and she got the doll!
What's that story got to do with today? That little blonde girl now loves doing estate sales (v smith estatesales on facebook) and her next sale is coming up. She found a vintage Crissy doll!!! It will be for sale. I talked another long-haired doll into posing with the Crissy doll! Presley Clark is modeling with the doll, the box and the instructions!
