Day one at Ben's class today, here are some of my notes I wanted to share...

I never get tired of listening to Ben's path of where he came from and how he got here. 

What can dissrupt you, your people, family? Ben thought about that and "technology" was his first thought, so he bought and built tech companies.  

 

Amazing material in this little book! Ben said he has spent over 1,000 hours building the course material. 

The name of the course is Persuade. "Persuassion is presenting in such a way as to sway the opinion of others, make people believe certain information, or motivate a decision". First you have to start with yourself.

It is easy to let ourselves down, because no one is watching. It's easy to say you want this or need this, but nothing will change until we find, what Ben calls our "hot buttons" or "trigger", that is the one thing that will "persuade" ourselves to achieve the goals we want and that's for business and personal. So for me, if I make a list of the biggest pains, hurts, concerns, needs etc. My number one things is "financial" or feeling behind and wanted to invest, save money and we more financially wealth. Then identifying my pain point, for me today, it's getting older. That panic's me. 

Ben then asked what is "your question" that you are going to ask yourself on a daily basis? My question would be "how am I going to be purposeful about my finances and health building to protect and grow my weatlh, exponentially? What did I do today that helped me get closer to my financial wealth plan?

To master this I need to find my net worth today, my expenses, debt and where I am today. Then each day I will look at what I spend each day and what my net worth is and am I moving in the right direction? To get to where I want to be I need to know where I am at. 

This was just one mall topic for today's class. I will keep taking notes and share more of my ah-ha's at the end of today.
