Reduced Price

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with All Star Realty Group, Inc.

As a Realtor, it is important we are responsible to our clients. But why are we chasing them away?Every time you place a sign on the front of a property that says "Reduced Price" what does that tell a consumer? My thoughts would be that the market is still doing poorly, and I should wait it out until things change. Keep reducing prices to be competitive, but don't broadcast you overpriced that listing to begin with. It scares buyers away!

Guess it could go either way, Bob.  It might signal a buyer who has been sitting on the sidelines, that he can now place an offer on a property he has admired.

I have to agree... Jus the other day my client and I were riding around and everything was saying REDUCED so she made a comment I WILL JUST WAIT UNTIL JULY AND THEY WILL BE GIVING THESE HOMES AWAY.
