A quote from the Boston Red Sox: We are going to the World Series... in all fairness I was very concerned getting past the Yankees and even more concerned getting past Last Years World Champion Huston Astros. I always had high respect for both organizations. Hence it is so much more rewarding to get to this point.
Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox to winning the American League! They are the American League Champions!!!
The 2018 American League Championship was achieved by winning the best of seven series. The Boston Red Sox won 4 and the Huston Atros one 1 that is what we say the better team has won.
What I was most impressed with was the team played as a "Team" and they remained humble and all high priced egos were put aside. When one member was not at their best the "Team" stepped up and helped or covered for the weakness of that "Team Mate".
Just on a side note the Boston Manager Alex Cora received the best Birthday Present any manager could have received. It was his Birthday today:)))))
So now the Red Sox are awaiting the winners of the Dodgers or the Brewers... in case you are wondering the standing is Dogers are 3 to 2 ahead of the Brewers:))). In some respects I would like to see a Los Angeles team going against the Boston Team. Who are you hoping to win???
