William Feela did a great job of  providing instructions for planting trees... enjoy your fall planting.

Now is the time to transplant your fall tree selection.

Remember the ones I told you to go mark.

The ones that have the fall color you like.

Ok...

Find your location  and make sure there are not electrical wires in the  area.

Best to have someone come out and locate first.

Then, dig your hole  1 and 1/2  times larger than the ball of dirt that is on the tree.

You may want to use some other soil depending on the soil that is from the hole.

Adding some fertilizer is a good idea.

Soak the hole down with water.

Put the tree in the hole so that it is at the same level of the ground you dug it  up from.

Make sure you pack the dirt firmly.

Water heavily.Use 3-4 ropes tied to stakes to hold the tree firmly in place.

Keep the tree watered until it freezes. ( in colder climates.)

Come spring be ready to keep the tree watered so that it gets enough water all

spring summer and fall the first year.

Good Luck!

I did this tree 5 years ago.

It is now starting to bush our nicely

That is indeed a great tutorial and solid choice for a reblog.  Not that I plant trees, but things might be a little bit different where I live, haha.
