My life has been super busy since my daughter and her hubby moved into their new house with two toddlers and two aging pets. The moving date was August 17th.
The last blog I posted (on September 8th) was about the damage she had to her furniture, due to the negligence of the men who loaded the truck.
My blog got the attention of the corporate department for All My Sons Moving and Storage in Texas. Three days after I posted the blog, I received an anonymous comment on the blog from Bobbie Sue Hayes, a claims manager for the company asking me to call. I promptly called and told her about the lack of care which the packers used when loading the truck. Bobbie Sue promised to work with my daughter and that the company would reimburse her for damages.
After playing phone tag for several days, my daughter finally spoke with Bobbie Sue and has since been documenting the damages in order to file the claim. It has been a long process due to the couple's work schedules, dealing with the long unpacking process and taking care of the normal needs of her family.
Another factor in the delay was our recent trip to Sevierville, Tn. We went to Dollywood and enjoyed the surrounding areas as well.
