Halloween is such a fun time for decorating!
My favorite form of Halloween decor is diy projects.
This year I don't really have the time to go all out and I'm keeping the
Halloween decor to a minimum.
I don't have anything Halloween inside the house, except this portrait of my dear parents.
Aren't they adorable?
Mom suffers from headaches. Dad does his best to comfort her.
Two years ago I shared my diy ghost, which ended up going to haunt my daughter's house.
I moved into a new home this year and you know what they say...
a house just isn't a home without a ghost.
So, of course, I've made another one.
Last year's ghost was made with a stuffed bear as my model.
This year the model was me.
I don't know why, but I tend to make my ghosts as ghost brides.
There is just something so tragic about dying on your wedding day.
My ghost bride spends most of her time flying around out on the front porch.
She has also been seen floating above the guest room bed a few times.
I didn't want my ghost to be alone outside...she needed a friend out there on the porch...
so kind of like Frankenstein's monster,
I pieced together a suitable partner in haunting for her.
It is yet to be determined whether it's a he or a she....
Let's just say it is a gender neutral companion.
We refer to it as "they".
Bride Ghost and They seem to be enjoying the porch.
I'll be sharing directions on how I made my hooded Halloween figure later this week.
You can check out my previous ghost post for directions on how to make your very own ghost.
