I am a self-proclaimed music junkie.
I used to sing and play my guitar at Willie’s Saloon in Stillwater, Oklahoma where this guy named Garth Brooks got his start (I don’t know whatever happened to him btw).
Speaking of music, the greatest concert I was ever at was John Denver and the craziest was Ozzy Osbourne (August, 1994) – we almost got crushed to death.
Anyways, I shall take way number 3 of managing fear from a song – Lean on me.
Another way I have dealt with fear over the years was to lean on my closest friends and speak endlessly for hours upon hours to them.
Talk through it. Analyze, analyze and re-analyze.
Venting, complaining and going through it out loud verbally and emotionally gets all of the negative energy out.
I seriously think that over the years, my closest friends have been my therapists (only I have not been given a bill – thank goodness).
Open up, let it out. Post it on social media.
It is pretty liberating to put stuff out there about yourself. You come to find out that there are others who share your fears and become your biggest supporters.
Way number 3 of dealing with fear is to lean on your friends and talk through everything.
Catch me tomorrow for step 4 and as always, THANK YOU for following!! Time to get after it!!
