The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public on Saturday, October 27, and Tuesday, October 30 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
E-Waste Recycling on Saturday, October 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Alameda, 2001 Santa Clara Avenue. Bring computers, TV’s, cell phones, microwave, and small appliances. A fee may apply. Call 908-4156 for more information.
Inaugural Animate Dance Festival on Saturday, October 27 from 11 am to 5 pm. Outdoor festival with more than 150 performers representing more than 10 different movement styles. Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, October 27, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Halloween Animal Fun” on Saturday, October 27, and Sunday, October 28, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
15th Annual Teen Haunted House on Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28 presented by Alameda middle and high school students at South Shore from 3 pm to 8 pm, Saturday and 3 to 7 pm on Sunday.
