My Favorite Neighborhood Halloween Haunts
We are lucky because we live in a neighborhood with lots of children and an active HOA. Each year there is a Halloween Parade with a Photobooth, food truck and healthy treats. After that, everyone heads out to try to get as much “unhealthy” treats as they can.
The decorating begins before September ends and one of the things that we enjoy doing on our walks is looking at all of the creatively decorated homes.
My decorating is kept to a minimum only because anything we did would pale in comparison to some of the homes. My sense of Halloween humor is the witch on a broomstick who has slammed into a tree. I have no idea why but I find that hilarious.
We have a few homes with huge blow-up ghouls and lots of spider webs covering the shrubs.
I must admit that those scary clown creatures are almost gone. Just one left. I don’t do clowns...and they’re all scary to me.
