The beautiful rose expresses promise, hope and new beginnings. In some legends it is considered a symbol of balance. While each color rose can have a different symbol and/or meaning like joy, love, peace, etc, all roses to many simply means the love of God's work in the world.
Did you know that there is also a term " sub rosa " ? It means under the rose and comes from ancient times ?
No matter where planted, they take root. They are beautiful and even if a petal falls they are still magnificent and just as beautiful. A rose can serve as a reminder that even with flaws the world and people can still be beautiful, too.
