I have been an active/rain member for about 4 months now and this is by far the best network site on the web. Everyone who is a part of this forum has shared great advice, encouragement, and opportunity! On that note, I would like to have your input on marketing/networking. I am a Loan Advisor for a Direct Lender ( out of Michigan ) Flagstar Bank for the last couple of years. We have been doing the majority of our business in Texas ( refinancing & purchases ) and it has kept me very busy. However, I live in Arizona and it is the fastest growing states in America and I want to tap into this market. For the record, I have attenderd numerous open houses to meet realtors and have a rather large data base to drip information on.....but it seems as if they have 2 to 4 loan officers in use. I have had more succes marketing the FSBO's in the area because I can sit an open house and pre-approve potential buyers. I work for a bank and they are willing to spend the $$ and offers awesome marketing tools from open house flyers to advertisements. With that being said......what advise ( as a realtor ) do you want to hear from a lender... ?
