FOR THE WATER-LOVER AT SMOKE RISE
Are you ready for your new life at Smoke Rise Stone Mountain? If you are, do you want to incorporate swimming in your daily activities? If you do, you should know a lot about The Summit Swim & Tennis Club (SSTC).
Located at Silver Hill Road, SSTC is open for the summer from May to September. It was renovated last 2016 and is now equipped with more varied swim areas such as lap swimming, diving, and wading. It also has two tennis courts and a covered pavilion.
Take note that the pool at SSTC is a saltwater pool. Here are some of the guidelines to follow:
Children who are younger than 10 years old must always be accompanied by a swimmer at least 15 years of age.
The lifeguard on duty may ask for proof that the child could swim the pool’s length.
The child should be able to swim the entire length of the swimming pool if he or she wishes to be unaccompanied by an adult.
Any form of rough play, foul language, or violence is not allowed in the pool area.
The diving board should only be used by one person at a time.
Diving should only be performed in the deep end of the pool.
Nobody should eat or drink while swimming or while in the water.
The lifeguard approves swim toys and accessories.
Only bathing suits are allowed for swimming.
No smoking is allowed.
There are 15 minutes allowed for adult swimming. During these 15 minutes, no children will be allowed to swim in the pool.
Enjoying swimming in Smoke Rise requires discipline and cooperation. If you want to be part of the SSTC community every day, feel free to purchase a property in Smoke Rise Stone Mountain.
