Random Amanda Thoughts Week of November 5, 2018
Listing remarks that state “priced to sell” always make me think as opposed to what? Priced not to sell? Another one I always shake my head at – “Will not last” and the house has been on the market for months.
Agent egos seem to have been on steroids this year. I always wonder if it’s the pressure of the market or if they just think they’ll get their way by being rude and borderline a bully. It’s always so wonderful when you connect with an agent on the other side who understands they’re part of a team with a common goal of finding a win-win solution. Always makes me hope we cross paths again. Which leads me too…
A little kindness goes a long way. We all have struggles and we never know what someone might be going through. Doing something kind for someone else every day has been something I’ve made a priority. It can be something as small as holding the door. Just doing something to spread kindness is the focus. If we all show more kindness we can make a big impact.
With Thanksgiving less than 3 weeks away I’ve been working on a menu. This is the first year I won’t be able to spend it with my parents. One of our dogs is extremely old, not in good health and can't make the trip to see them. My Mom is an incredible cook and I hope I can pull off some of her recipes.
That’s all the random thoughts I have for now. Make it a great day everyone!
