This is the first year in many where I've been "On Top Of" getting started on my winter scarf for the year. When I was younger it was always a goldish color scarf but now that I'm an old man it's pretty solid grey.
Today it's one week old.
I think I was seventeen when the first barber told me I had the thickest beard he had ever scene. I've heard it more than 100 time scence then and I never tire of it... I just wish I could grow it on top of my head.
If I let it grow freely till April or May I would look like I belong in the ZZ Top Band but I like to keep it nicely trimmed.
For those of you who do not or have not visited the Northland during the harshest of our winter you would not know what a blessing a thick beard is. Nothing penetrates it!
