When we get together about your buying or possibility of selling your home, everything becomes confidential once we sign the buyer agency's agreement or the exclusive right to sell contract for your home. Unless disclosed in writing from you, I can not disclose why you are in the market for a house or why you have to sell your home. Other confidentially includes if you were pre-approved for a higher amount but only feel comfortable spending a certain number, non-disclosure on what your bottom line is when your home is on the market when asked.

The old acronym OLDCAR spells out what I to you. The 'O' stands for obedience. This means I have to listen to your lawful instruction,such as your counter offers, negotiations any inspections items, etc. The 'L' stands for loyalty. The 'D' is for disclosure, I must disclose as much as I can about the property you are interested in under law (subject to dual or designated agency)-this includes discussing neighborhood sales trends& disclosing material facts on the home. The 'C' stands for confidentially, which is discussed above. The 'A' stands for accounting:keeping track of all funds & documents in the transaction.Last of all,the 'R' is for is reasonable care: having the necessary knowledge & skills to assist a client and who to refer out if you don't know their answers.
