Why Would You Want To Move To Greater Danbury From New York City

By

I have had several clients relocate from New York City to the Danbury,CT area. They all have their own stories, but here are the major reasons for moving:

-Affordable Quality Real Estate Options: Affordable practical real estate options is one of the main attractions from home buyers seeking a new address in the Greater Danbury & Candlewood Lake area of Connecticut. After pursuing local real estate options before scheduling in person viewings, they are impressed with that area has to offer. Whether they are seeking a practical bi-level single family home, maintenance free townhome, larger colonial style or something different, the Greater Danbury area something for you.  I will be happy to provide in-person home buyer consultation sessions.

-Favorable school systems: I have ran into my clients in town, and inviting me to come by once they have been settled in for a while. They have wonderful things to stay about their children's teachers and schools. They have mentioned that their children are adjusting well to do move and doing well in their classes.

-Superior affordable of homes compared to NY: Clients have mentioned to me the lack of available homes in their price ranges. In addition, they have stated that several of the homes in their price range did require much more repairs and updating then in CT. Not only were the homes not going to work from them, they were always very concerned about the property taxes. In more cases than you can imagine, they were close to 40% higher in the nearby communities in Putnam & Westchester County,New York.

-Quieter living environment: They like the peace and quiet.  They like having a yard for family activities, pets or both. They enjoy the slower pace of life and less crowed environment. Even the busy roads in the area don't seem that bad compared New York City. Businesses and services are not as busy, and they are finding reasonably

-Love the town and available services: After spending some time adjusting to the area once moved in to their home, they learn what the town has to offer, in terms of services, dining and community involvement such as the Halloween parade, youth sports and service organizations. They are making friends with the people that they are meeting.

Some other thoughts I have gathered

Some clients did mention they would like to be closer, but they have adjusted to the drive down to their job. They have learned the best routes; when to leave their houses for work and what a normal commute should be like. They are used to the idea of not having take-out available at 11PM durning the week and having laundry inside their own home & learning how the major systems of a house work. They found it pretty easy to find reliable tradesprofessionals to take off of things that houses that they can't do own their own or don't have time to do. Lastly, none of my clients wished they weighted longer before coming up & said this was one of the best things they could have done for themselves.
