This past weekend the Visiting Nurses Association once again welcomed sponsors to the annual Stuart Air Show. About a dozen non-profit organizations are the financial beneficiaries who thrive because of this ever growing 3 day event in Martin County, FL.

It was virtually non-stop action from the moment we got there. An F-15 fly by from behind got our attention real quick. I would so hate to be on the receiving end of our military. We had a blast!

I believe it's a 1958 Lockheed Jet Star VC-140 Joe. They called it the Cadillac of private jets in its day. Something like 8 Presidents used them for shorter legs or runways. When they were aboard it was called Air Force One but LBJ jokingly called it Air Force One Half. It was / is no slouch and can cruise at almost 600 mph. Elvis Pressley also owned one, a C-140 which is not the military version. Being very expensive to maintain was its major downfall.
