Thanks for the encouragement.

Prospecting can be like how I feel about never answering my landline phone, because 99% of the calls are someone trying to sell me something, trying to fear me into action they want, so they want to steal from me, or charities guilting me into donating.

Now, imagine me being on the receiving end of a rude reaction to my kind courteous email simply extending my services if needed, and asking for referrals.

Discouragement shows up this way, or in non-responses after a whole lot of time consuming effort. The constant amount of contacting required to generate Clients can feel like failure.

Prospecting will always be a skin-thickening activity.

Then, suddenly one day I find yourself busy, sometimes overwhelmed with Clients, I stop for a moment and remind myself I am in a sowing and reaping business. I motivate myself by telling myself I sow prospecting and eventually reap valued Clients.

I don't use email marketing, I feel it's just another thing to delete from my inbox when I get them. However it does keep your name in front of a client!
