Home sales dropped but prices continued to rise in the Anthem Parkside real estate market during October. Sales decreased 19% from September and dropped 10% year over year. The average sale price increased 4% versus September and was up 14% over October 2017. The average price per square foot increased 4% from September, and was up 14% year over year for the Parkside. The average days on market was down 20% compared to September and was down 7% versus October 2017. The inventory of homes on the market is at a 2.44 month’s supply, still marking a seller's market. The 12 month moving average, $319,747 is up 8% from last year. The number of homes currently on the market slipped to 78, while the number of homes currently under contract in the Parkside is 54, signalling a slightly stronger report in November.
