There isn't any way I can get through the 10 day "Thankfulness Challenge" that Debbie Reynolds has presented, without devoting a little space for the blessing of my children. Each of my four kids have very unique interesting personalities. But, they all have artistic and/or musical creativity shining through in common! There is another thing all four of my children share. They have all worked in the real estate profession at one point or another, but have moved on to other vocations.
My oldest, Valerie, has a gift for party planning and inflatables. She is the owner of our local "Balloon Butler" business in the Greater Sacramento Region.
My son, Randy, is U.S. Navy Retired. He served on the Aircraft Carriers, U.S.S. Kittyhawk and the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln (1987 - 2007). He currently, works in the flooring department of our local Lowe's Home Improvement Store.
Daughter, Tami, has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and is in private practice in Reno, Nevada. In prior years, she was a high school honors English teacher.
My youngest daughter, Jill, has worked approximately 25 years in the financial realm at Franklin Templeton, here in Sacramento. After graduating from college at age 20, she worked for a time as a Realtor, then moved on to title company operations, before her current position at Franklin Templeton.
They have all made me very proud!
