This is Day 3 entry into the ActiveRain challenge hosted by Debbie Reynolds. We've been asked to share the joys, what blesses us the most, and why it is a blessing.
Day 3 - I would certainly be remiss if I did not include being a breast cancer survivor in my Thanksgiving gratitude. I am certainly blessed beyond measure to have kicked cancer in the backside. I've lost many friends to the cancer beast. Far too many are not as fortunate as I am to be alive and thriving over six (6) years post "You've got cancer."
I am thankful beyond measure and feel joy each and every morning when I wake up. The first thing I say out loud when my eyes open is THANK YOU!
My hands go up in the air as my feet hit the floor and I say: "Thank you for this beautiful day!"
I am thankful for the blessing of cancer as well. The experience and the journey was life-altering.
Today, I live with peace and joy in my heart. I've learned what's truly important in my life. I laugh more. A lot more! I've slowed my pace down and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
I enjoy having hair again too!
I enjoy my real estate career. I am blessed to be able to help people buy and sell homes. It brings me great joy to provide another level of service to my probate clients that extend over and above selling real estate.
Thank you, Debbie Reynolds for hosting the Thanksgiving Challenge.
