The biggest struggle in real estate is the one size fits all attempt by the media, the public too for one big happy market. They all operate different and depending on the day the numbers miss the mark on what's really going on in your small dot on the big map.

Hi Charlie. Loved your post. We have a lot in common. I also like to do market reports and understand that it's tough to do in a small market. I actually used to live in Steamboat Springs. Beautiful town but I am an east coast girl. Now live in Stowe, Vermont and have been here for many years. Stowe is sort of an east coast version of Steamboat. Thanks for the way you presented the numbers! Well done.

Yes Charlie - it is awesome. As long as you don't want to go to the Mall, out to the movies or a concert, or out for dinner!

It's a pretty quiet place, but we love it and love having wildlife for our nearest neighbors.

Our elderly neighbor who passed away last year used to mention that a lot. He said it was wonderful to live in a place where you could see wildlife that was wild rather than in a cage.

You're right. We get to see a moose every now and then - sometimes in the meadow below the house. Also deer, elk, coyotes, and an occasional bear.

Good way of getting out the word Charlie Dresen !  It even attracted me.
