How to easily fix damaged drywall with a skim coat
You may not need to go out and DIY but this information that Paul shares with us could be useful to your clients.
In this Part 6 video, I show you how to easily fix damaged drywall by skim coating with these diy drywall tips. I first show you the damaged and bubbling texture and paint that needs a skim coat due to a roof leak. Next, I show how to prime the damaged drywall area with a primer called Kilz stain blocking primer. Then I use a 20 minute quick setting joint compound to skim over the area twice.
