In no particular order...things that come to mind while taking out the pups.
ITEM: Did you know that valedictorians rarely become rich and famous. The average millionaire's IQ is 2.9. Whew, glad I was not one of those folks. I have a chance now!
ITEM: If you brush your teeth twice a day you will live longer. Less cardiovascular mortality. Hmmm. Wish they told me that a few years ago. Something to do with inflammation of gums that could spread to other tissue.
ITEM: Music keeps getting worse. You used to go into a restaurant and recognize a few songs. Now I run out remembering nothing I have heard because there is no 'music' there. Oh, I can't hum a single song from McCartney's new album.
ITEM: How can we maintain the standard of living in this country while the third world catches up so quickly and starts to level the playing field? Should we worry about this more or not? We have the technology and brains and some time left to figure out how to be more self-sustainable, cut out what is not going to work in the long run and figure out how to save the planet now.
ITEM: Why do dogs who never sniff at anything when raised alone all of a sudden pick up habits of other dogs who sniff at everything if paired.
ITEM: There is too much stuff to keep up with in regards to maintaining a small business. I will blog about this separately, but after reading all the things that are suggested, recommended, and implied here on AR I am starting to feel queasy...
ITEM: Lightbulb moment in regards to above item -- 'Necessity is the mother of Motivation'. Yes, that sounds about right. So many things to do, so little time. Look ahead and see what's about to hit you and devise a strategy to avoid it. And work out another plan to stay out of the way of future meteorites. Speaking of which, did you know that 10 asteroids or meteors passed by earth this year so far not discovered until 24 hours of passing by. The definition of a meteor is a non-man-made celestial object that comes closer to earch than our orbiting moon. Makes you wonder...
ITEM: What happened to those spring loaded arm conditioning things that we'd see on TV years ago? And speaking of commercials, have you noticed how many DRUGS are advertised in prime time??? If you don't keep track, they all have people in slow motion having the time of their lives and at the end you have no idea what they are supposed to do. But all of a sudden you wake up and there is an insane warning at the end that the side effects will essentially wipe you out before you are 'cured'.
ITEM: There should be a hashtag for stupidity.
ITEM: Why is the hurricane season so long around here. Really. I have a global warming warning neighbor who relishes telling me every morning the name of every new tropical storm on the horizon... And why is it still hitting 80s here in Florida? Every year I swear I am moving north. Three straight months of 90 plus degree days and 90 percent humidity is ENOUGH.
ITEM: Movie trailers. I am getting tired of listening to some great classic rock in these previews: AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Golden Earring -- and then when I watch the movie finally none of that rock shows up anywhere. Nowhere. Something needs to be done about this.
That's it. Short with no graphics. Except our PeekaPoo Bentley at top.
