I'm so grateful and thankful for all those serving. I come from a family with many who have served and are still serving. It's because of those that have served our country and died for the freedoms we now have today, make America what it is now. Could it be better? Yes, can we do more? Yes! We really need to help those who have served and who are still serving. How can we help? By voting. Take the opportunity to do your research on those in your City, County, and State.
I'm thankful that my dad made a decision when he was 17 years old to join the Air Force back in 1947 and he finally retired in 1977. It's because of his many travels he met my mom overseas and the rest is history. I'm truly honored that I have a sibling, my daughter and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles who have served and are still serving all the branches of the military. It's an honor and a privilege to be surrounded with family members that have served and are still serving to this day. I love hearing the different stories each one has to offer, some sad, some not so good, but over all not one person stated they would have done anything different. I'm blessed to be a part.
