Tucson is the first city in America to be honored with the Capital of Gastronomy designation. This city, rich with history and culture, dates back to the O'odham people who settled, and cultivated this rich desert landscape. According to VisitTucson.org, "Tucson's agriculture heritage extends back more than 4,000 years as the longest known continuously cultivated area in the North America".

I've got my favorites as well. I can cook a pretty mean, basic meal so when I dine out I have simple needs - fresh not frozen, served hot, prepared to best enhance the ingredients of the dish.
Whether fancy or plain, Food Truck or James Beard award winning - I just want to enjoy good food. I bet you do too!
