A few months ago, I realized that my headshot may be reflecting a earlier time in life. My hair was quite a bit longer and my glasses were proving to be more comfortable than contacts. Was it time to change headshots?
The thought of it all:
- updating profiles
- scheduling a photo shoot on just the right Oklahoma weather day
- practicing a smile that looks authentic - albeit I am generally a happy person and don't have to practice that much 😊
- and I may have to cover up a little more silver hair this year
I kept thinking to myself, "But I don't want to change my Headshot!"
NOW, to move into what I call "Solution-Focused Mode."
It was time to take some drastic measures if I was going to be able to keep my current photo.
Happy to report that I am sporting a similar (shorter) hairdo and just may be able to pull off a couple more years without having to get a new headshot. Of course, I will also keep up my anti-aging regiment 😉
How far will you go to keep your current headshot?
