The Promise of Rose Gardens and Fruituitous Living!

Being THANKFUL and GRATEFUL for the food we eat during the growing season comes from an organic back yard garden in southern Utah. It reminds me of this little prayer often recited as a child. God is great, God is Good, Let Us Thank Him for this Food!
Growing fruits and vegetables is favorite past time for us. From the first hint of Spring, we prepare the soil to receive careful plantings and with nature's cooperation, some maintenance on our part, we harvest an abundant crop every growing season.
Each year, we both get excited, in anticipation of another growing season. My husband is the green thumb and possesses the ability to grow plants successfully and create relaxing spaces for everyones enjoyment. His rose garden is magnificent when in full bloom.
We are aware that maintaining a home garden is akin to running a business. Knowing when to water, weed and fertilize. It also involves creating room for the plants to thrive to come to fruition. Consistency plus follow through is ultra-important for favorable outcomes.
Every year the list of fruits and vegetables changes to suit our needs. In the past, we have grown 6 varieties of tomatoes, zucchini, cabbage, peppers, strawberries, grapes and Muscadines. We enjoy every one and gladly share our gift with family and friends!
Then there is fresh rosemary, thyme, sage, onion chives, garlic, parsley, basil and oregano. A lot of energy is involved to be successful at gardening. Every year as we watch our gardens grow and reap the wonderful benefits that come from fruituitous living.
The best to you all from Nerdin Gardens and southern Utah! Indeed THANKFUL and GRATEFUL to be in such a place.
