In November of 2018, Realtytrac.com reported nationwide there were 552,556 distress properties in October of 2018 rose 21.0% from September of 2018, but fell 4.0% from October of 2017. While pre-foreclosures were 28.9%, auctions were 35.4%, and REOs were 35.7%; one in every 1,989 properties homes were in foreclosure, and State of New Jersey had the highest rate with one in every 753 homes in foreclosure, during October of 2018.
Pre-foreclosures gained 1.9% in the October of 2018, from September of 2018, but declined 12.0% from October of 2017. Auctions decreased 7.3% in October of 2018, from September of 2018, and dropped 10.1% from October of 2017. REOs fell 119.4% in October of 2018, from September of 2018, but higher 10.3% from October of 2017.
