This is Kathleen Daniels Day 8 entry into the ActiveRain challenge. We've been asked to share the joys, what blesses us the most, and why it is a blessing.
Day 8 is about the blessing of meditation. Specifically, Dr. Joe Dispenza!
I've been meditating for years! Earlier this year I encountered a life event that caused me much stress. Life, in general, can be stressful. Real estate most certainly can be stressful.
The life event tipped the stress scales for me. The silver lining and blessing in that stressful event was that I discovered Dr. Joe Dispenza. He was exactly what I needed and he came to me at the exact perfect time.
I purchased his online course Making Your Mind Matter at the end of July 2018.
I sat in front of my computer for an entire weekend watching and learning. I could not get enough. I was consumed with what I was learning about the brain, habits, and how to change.
The course taught me how to take my meditation to an entirely new level. During the course, I meditated for 1.5 hours every morning.
Like all good things, I wanted more. I purchased the Intensive and Progressive Workshops.
These courses must be completed in a limited period of time. They are prerequisites to attend one of his live events.
A live event is on my bucket list!
I've progressed so much I am now meditating 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes before I slumber. These are very specific guided meditations.
What used to be television time is now learning and meditation time.
I am so grateful for finding the teaching of Dr. Joe. It is truly a blessing because it helped, and continues to help manage stress.
