I am so thankful for good clean water. I drink about 64+ ounces of water a day, I cook, clean, wash clothes and shower daily and can not imagine not having clean water to do these tasks. Have you ever thought what it would be like to have dirty water or no water at all.
Did you know that 663 million people in the world live without clean water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. But access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids.
I am so lucky to have good clean water and wanted to help in someway. This is why a few months ago I started donating to Charity Water. Below is a short video of how to help people get good clean water.
I am so thankful for our good clean water to drink, bathe, wash our clothes, and to cook our food. Just think what it would be like to have unclean water!
